I was born in İzmir in 1975, and my education took place in İzmir. After graduating from İzmir Atatürk High School, I completed my medical education at Trakya University Faculty of Medicine in Edirne. I worked as a general practitioner for two years at Sefalı Health Center in Çayeli, Rize. Later, I completed my specialty training at Taksim Training and Research Hospital. In the final year of my residency, I worked as an observer assistant in the clinic of Prof. Dr. Dror Paley in the United States, focusing on pediatric and adult bone deformities.
After fulfilling my military service at Denizli Military Hospital in 2006-2007, I completed my mandatory service at Nusaybin State Hospital in Mardin. To pursue an academic career, I joined Baltalimanı Bone Diseases Training and Research Hospital in 2011. There, together with my mentor, Prof. Dr. Yavuz Kabukçuoğlu, I established the Gait Analysis Laboratory and managed it for six years.
In 2012, I worked in the Pediatric Orthopedics Clinic of the Catholic University of Leuven (KUL) in Belgium under Prof. Dr. Guy Molenaers. I conducted research at KUL’s Gait Analysis Laboratory and received training from Prof. Dr. Guy Molenaers on the evaluation of children with cerebral palsy based on gait analysis, Botox applications for spastic muscles, and related surgical procedures.
In 2017, I was awarded the title of Associate Professor. In 2021, I joined Bahçeşehir University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology, and in 2023, I earned the title of Professor. Currently, I continue to serve my patients at my private clinic in Beşiktaş, Fulya.
